Craft Camp Day 4- Woodland Theme

The last day of craft camp was probably my favorite because of the projects! Here they are in a woodland theme...

Here is the card for the day.  The girls also took all 4 cards they made during the week and made a cute card kit with a baggie, kraft circle sticker, and a stamp.  :)

Woodland sugar cookies
They got to roll them out, cut them, we baked them, and then decorated them!

This was my favorite project of the week~ tic-tac-toe boards!!!  They used vinyl for a stencil and stained the wood.  Then they got to make 10 game pieces to go with it!

Craft Camp Day 3- Sewing Day!

Every year I make sure to have a sewing day during craft camp! :)  It is always a simple project mostly to just get the girls excited and interested in the art of sewing.

This is the card for the day... The kit we will be making tomorrow!

This little pennant banner was the sewing project.  I had everything pre-cut.  The girls just had to pin and sew.  They really turned out cute!

While I was working one on one with each girls as they sew, I had this clipboard project all the other girls to work on.  They just used sharpies and it was something they could do on their own without needing my help.  That way I could focus my attention on sewing.  They are so amazingly beautiful, not one alike!  The one above was done by my young daughter.  The one below is one that I started... and hopefully I'll finish... someday! :)

Here is the treat we made.  We baked cupcakes and then frosted/decorated them to look so incredibly adorable!

Craft Camp Day 2: Keepsake Theme

Round two done!  We had fun putting together a few things that will help us keep our memories safe...

First up was the card for the day... the kits will be put together on the last day! :)

Next were memory boxes. They got to decorate the boxes with vinyl and their choice of paper for a "peek-a-boo" lid inside! :)

Of course their needs to be a journal with this theme. :)  They matched the journal to the memory box using the same fun paper.  Then with a little help from vinyl they were able to give it a cute label.  Lastly they each got to try their hand at a binding machine and make the papers into a book!

Then to not be wasteful, we used the scraps left over to make a bookmark!

And last, but certainly not least, we made funfetti cookies. The recipe is found here.

Craft Camp Day 1- Mason Jar Theme

It's that time of year again when I get to have some wonderful girls come join me in my home for crafting!  This year I am doing 3 classes!  I think it's been a blast, but maybe you should ask me come Thursday! :)

Here are the crafts that these young crafters got to do today!

We are making card kits this year again with a different card each day.  This one is my favorite this week!  I love the mason jar sticker... You can't tell from the picture, but it is a puffy little guy! :)

They got to pick a color of chalk paint to use on a mason jar. Blue, purple, or pink (not shown)

Then after the paint was dry we sanded the lettering on the jar with a nail file.
Next they got to pick out felt balls and skewer them with floral stem wire to put inside the jars.

Finally they made a little tag to tie on the outside.

Lastly was a parfait in a jar treat they got to make. It had chocolate pudding on the bottom, followed by vanilla pudding, crumbled brownie, and lastly M&M's.  Yum!

We had a great day and now it's time to clean up and prep for tomorrow!
