Carnival- More Printables

UPDATE!!!!
I am no longer taking requests for signs... sorry!

Here is a link to the post where you can make your own:
DIY CARNIVAL SIGNS

Here are a few extra things I did for the party!
To see the full party go here.
To see the carnival games see- part 1 and part 2.
You can see more printables here.
The invitations are here.
Some carnival cake pops here.

I know I mentioned it before, but I am in love with this bin thingy. I used it to hold the guest's shoes while they were on the jumping things. Below is the sign I made for it.
I got the small water bottle from Costco and then designed the label below. I used a template found here and then sized it and added the wording.

The little bunting on the wheel is from here.
I made all the labels for the jars of prizes. You can find them below. The guests would play the games to earn tickets and then exchange them for prizes.

I used a small strip of ribbon under the ticket sign to give it a little pizzazz!

I got the popcorn and cotton candy signs for free here. Then I made a matching one for snow cones. I had them printed at the UPS store to be 11X17.
And the last thing I have to share with you were the hats I made for the help! They were simply dollar store hats that I used iron-on vinyl to embellish. A special thank you to my neighbor, Kathy, who finished ironing these for me. I would not have gotten them done otherwise!

At a request, here is a blank for the games, food, or anything else you can think of!

  1. Renee, I love your signs. How did you make them? What program did you use?

  3. What version of Printmaster? I'm going to try to use your signs for our church carnival, but also need to make some additional...when I went on-line I saw many different versions to choose from...thanks!

    1. I currently have 18.1. I could send you the file I used and then you can adjust them. Or if you only have a few, I wouldn't mind making them up and sending the files to you. Good luck with the carnival!

    2. That's really nice of you! I think I'll have way too many signs to ask you to do....and we'll probably keep thinking of more and changing them.....but I would be thrilled if you would share your file with me. I plan to purchase printmaster - it looks like you can really do some fun things with it! How can we exchange email 1:1, rather than posting here? Thanks! Jennifer

    3. Reply one more time to this comment section with your email. I will not post it and then we can email back and forth privately. I am working on giving my blog a "facelift" right now and making it easier to do things like contact me. Sorry for the inconvenience but it will be better soon! :)

  4. Hi Renee,

Would you mind sending me the file for the signs also? I am having a carnival party for my son but have different games.

    1. It will only work with Printmaster 18.1 or it will not be readable, in fact you won't be able to open it. Do you have that program? How many more games do you have? I may be able to make them for you...

  5. Would you be able to make me some signs please? The child development center I run is having a carnival this Friday and I absolutely LOVE your signs.

  6. Is there any way to have these signs left blank so I can write on them? I'm hoping to label food and beverages at my sons first birthday party this weekend.

    1. Sure thing... I added them to another post
      http://theballoonred.blogspot.com/2013/08/carnival-printables-revisited.html
They actually look better with 2 words instead of one, so I took the liberty of adding in another word... hope they work for you!

  10. I hate to ask you to do this because you're being so generous and I don't want you to feel taken advantage of, but I work at a small town youth center and we're having a carnival in two fridays for local teens to get out of the house, stay off the streets, and have fun...I am in need of a sign for Funnel Cake and a sign for Caricatures. I have horrible hand writing so I am terrified to write on the blank ones! What are the chances you could add those two signs for me? If not, I totally understand!!

    1. I went ahead and made the funnel cake one (you can find it on this post: http://theballoonred.blogspot.com/2013/08/carnival-printables-revisited.html
But the caricature one was not looking right. The word is too long and it also looks better with 2 lines... do you have any other ideas for what you want that one to say? If you can come up with something, I will add it.

    2. Oh wow! Thank you so much for making the funnel cake sign!!! I am trying to think of another way to say caricatures....what about Cartoon Portraits? My husband just came up with that, bless his heart haha I was at a loss for words! You are awesome!

    3. You got it! It is on the same post as the other one...

  11. Hi! I adore these signs. We are hosting a coed Carnival theme baby shower for friends next weekend and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind adding a few more? I'm hoping for one that says Soak the Diaper, one that says Sweets & Treats and one that says Favors Please Take One. Thank you so much, the signs are going to make the party look so cute!
