CRAFT DAY 2013- Thanksgiving Crafts

Here are more crafts for our craft day on October 3rd.

These cute lanterns are so fun and easy! They add a little elegance to your fall decor! They are actually made of plastic... I know, you can't tell until you touch them! So this means they are light weight and child friendly too! The other cool thing about them, they are battery operated and have a soft flickering glow light inside. FUN! FUN! FUN!
Details: lantern with vinyl applied; h-10 1/2 in, w-4 1/2 in (battery not included)
Project Time: 5 minutes


 Beautiful... simply beautiful. Emma designed and made this runner. It is a no-sew project and will make a beautiful addition to any table top!
Details: burlap leaf print, brown burlap ruffle border; ruffle hot glued to edge; L-72in, W-18in
Project Time: 15 minutes


OK... love this project!!!!! Chalkboards are so fun and of course they go so well with the holidays, or any time for that matter! Think of the possibilities with the in your home! below are the 2 finishes you can do (antiqued or white... antiqued shown above.) Also, if you look at the next project, we help you decorate this chalkboard for the up coming holidays! Yea!
Details: chalkboard base provided, frame pieces provided; choose frame color; w/ frame w-20 1/2in,  h-24in; chalkboard area only w-16in, h-18in
Project Time: varies on finish selected...15-20 minutes


Can we make it any easier to doll up your chalkboard this holiday season!?! The kit includes these 3 prints blown up to the right size for your chalkboard. It also includes chalk and a "how to" transfer them to your board. Easy peasy!!!! PS- This is a great no brainer craft while you are watching TV!
Details: 3 prints and some chalk!
Project Time: 0 time (or if you want to chalk it there, probably 20-30 minutes)

but as adorable as they are, aren't you a little bit glad to get another look!?!
Seriously- love these! They are even cuter in person... no joke! Plus they are huge- take out your ruler and measure them!!!! We saw this idea here. We saw them, fell in love, and the rest is history! Yes folks, one craft... two holidays!
Details: made of wood; edges stained, mod podged paper, vinyl applied; tallest height is 7 1/2in, width 21in
Project Time: 30-45 minutes (Our longest project, but definitely worth every second!)
